Lesaka is urgently seeking a meticulous and technically strong SOX Reporting Specialist to support our reporting and compliance stream during a critical implementation phase. This 12‑month office‑based role in Gqeberha will be key to ensuring the stability, accuracy, and regulatory alignment of our SOX reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will report to the National Infrastructure Manager and Assistant National Infrastructure Manager, playing a crucial role in ensuring all SOX‑related reporting meets the highest standards of data integrity, quality, and compliance.

💼 What You’ll Do

As a SOX Reporting Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

✨ SOX Report Development & Maintenance
• Designing, developing, and maintaining a high volume of complex SOX internal and external reports
• Using Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) to produce accurate, audit‑ready outputs

✨ Data Integrity & Accuracy
• Ensuring 100% accuracy of all reports used for internal and external SOX audits
• Working towards achieving zero critical findings related to data quality

✨ System Integration
• Integrating new Lesaka products and processes into the reporting environment
• Ensuring seamless incorporation of new data into SOX reporting structures

✨ Security & Log Data Reporting
• Developing SOX‑related security reports using log and security event data
• Utilising familiarity with Wazuh SIEM to incorporate compliance‑critical security data

✨ Deadline & Workload Ownership
• Taking full ownership of reporting deliverables
• Ensuring all deadlines are met consistently and timeously
• Maintaining quality despite shifting priorities

✔️ Minimum Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

🔹 Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS)
🔹 Strong experience working with SQL Server (query writing, extraction, optimisation)
🔹 Proven experience with SOX compliance and audit reporting
🔹 Familiarity with Wazuh SIEM or similar security event tools
🔹 Ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
🔹 Strong communication skills for liaising with audit teams and stakeholders
🔹 Excellent time‑management, attention to detail, and deadline discipline
